Winter Concert Posters

I had the opportunity to create a poster for the Winter Concert directed by Michael Shahani in 2017 and 2019. It was great to see how I could create different design solutions for the same event. In 2019, I wanted to show how music brings people together during the holiday season by illustrating a group of singers performing together. In this choir, everyone is wearing pink cloths to symbolize harmony, coziness, and sweetness.

In 2017, my concept was that music is a warm light in the winter. I also wanted to show how music makes us feel cozy in holiday times. The posters bring the handmade quality of the holiday gift cards. The illustration was made by mixing traditional media (watercolor plus pen brush) and Photoshop.
